YOGSOH  PREBLE-02:  PREBLE COUNTY, OHIO WILL ABSTRACTS, BOOKS I & II.  1807-1835.  These will abstracts have been recorded in alphabetical order by the first letter of the surname.   There is no index included.  These appear to be photocopies, no name, no date, one sheet of paper, regular weight, with the title on it.  No back cover.  This might be a proofing copy, or just one the owner has corrected.  Surnames leaving wills are:  Aldick, Aikman, Alexander 2, Aten, Banta 2, Bean, Beard, Bell, Biers, Bishop, Black 2, Blackford, Blansher, Bronson, Brower, Brown 3, Burk,  Burson,  Button, Caldwell, Campbell, Cloyd, Cook, Craig, Davidson, Day 2, Dilman, Divan, Dooley, Early, Eikenberry, Everman 2, Fleming 2, Floyd, Foreman, Frame, Gift, Goodwin 2, Gregg, Hahn, Hall, Hamilton, Hardy, Harford, Harris 2, Hart, Hasty, Hawkins, Heckman, Holderman, Hornaday, Hornbaker, Horner, Hymlick, Ireland 3, Irwin, Jackson, Jenkins, Jones, Kellogg, Kesling, Killough, Kingery, Landis, Lanier, Larsh, Lewellen, Lock, Loop, Magriff, Martin 3, Massie, Mauzy, McCown, McFadden, McGaw, McGuire 2, McMan, McQuiston, McWhinney, Melling, Miller 2, Milligan, Mitchell 2, Neff, Nesbit, Newton 4, Overholts, Ozias 2, Parham, Pattrerson, Paulus, Peach, Porter, Price, Purviance, Randall 2, Richards, Rinehart 2, Roberts, Rookstool, Scott, Sellers, Shewey, Shidler, Shuman, Sidwell, Smith 2, Steel, Stephens, Sutton, Swisher, Swineheart, Syler, Taylor 3, Thatcher, Thompson, Thornberry, Tickle, Torrence, Utt, Van Ausdal, Van Doren, Van Sickle, Van Winkle 2, Vanty, Wantz, Ward 2, Weast, Westerfield, Williamson 2, Woodward, Woolf, Wolverton and Zeller.  Abstracts appear to be thorough.  Lots of names.  There are holes in the paper where the staples have been removed.  I have placed it in a pocket folder to protect it. YOGSOH PREBLE-03:  PREBLE COUNTY, OHIO WILLS, Volume I 1806-1836.  Volume II 1836-1854.  Mrs Don Short and Mrs. Dale Bowers.  Reprint 1995.  Clearfield Company, Vol. I ©1967, Vol. 2 © 1973.  These wills seem to run for a considerable length of time beyond the 1836 limits of the above book.  This book has been shrunk to fit on the 5½" by 8½" paper, the print is very small, and although it is new, it is already faulty in that it is falling apart.  The pages are loose in the center.  All the information is there.  The every name index for Volume I appears after that first section of the book.  The author did everything right and this is an excellent book with lots of data in it.   Book II has a surname index only.  The wills in both of these books appear to be recorded in chronological order.  The price of this book was supposed to be set at $14.  Because it has to be held together with a rubber band, the price is lowered to $10.  PIECE: $10
