YOGS CRAZY CRATE 90D  BOOK 2:  LAWRENCE COUNTY, INDIANA MARRIAGE RECORDS 1818-1834 + LAWRENCE COUNTY, INDIANA MARRTIAGE RECORDS 1835-1843 + LAWRENCE COUNTY, INDIANA MARRIAGE RECORDS 1844-1851.  Lawrence County, Indiana was formed in January of 1818.  The county seat is in Bedford, Indiana.  All three books are bound together with a clear plastic cover and a long black plastic binding strip.  All three books are done in a similar style with all marriages listed alphabetically by the surname of the groom. The marriages are numbered as they are listed in this  book.  At the end of each book is a list of the bride's name and the number of the marriage in which her name appears.   The format of each marriage starts with the groom's surname, first name; then the bride's first name and surname; then the month, day and year of the marriage:

Example:  John Abel   Patsey Miller   9 April 1832.  Book 1 1818-1834 has 1,045 marriages in it.  Book 2 has 1,000 marriages in it.  Book 3 has 1,041 marriages in it for a total of 3,086 marriages, which, of course, would have involved some 6,172 men and women, some of them once or twice, or maybe even more times, of Lawrence County, Indiana.   If you have any ancestors in Lawrence County, Indiana, who were likely to have been married between 1818 and 1851, you will find them in these three books bound together for safe keeping and continuity, encompassing over 100 pages of research in the LawrenceCounty, Indiana, Courthouse by the author Charles M. Franklin.

Published by YOGS in 1981 through 1983.  These marriages are recorded from Books 1, 2 and 3 found in the Clerk's office in Bedford.  PRICE: FOR ALL 3 BOOKS BOUND TOGETHER $27.  Only one combination offer is available, but the three books are available bound separately at $9 each for a total of $27 for all three.  With thousands of surnames involved, you can see why no index appears here!  I keep running out of time!
